Cookies are small files saved in a user’s browser, phone, tablet or computer when they visit a website.

A cookie may allow a website to recognise the user’s device, remember preferences, keep products in the cart, help complete an order or provide statistical information about how the website is used.

Cookies are not software programs, cannot run code on the user’s device and cannot directly access files stored on it.

The website may use the following categories of cookies:

  • strictly necessary cookies;
  • functional cookies;
  • analytics and statistical cookies;
  • marketing and remarketing cookies;
  • third-party cookies.

These cookies are necessary for the website and online store to work correctly. Without them, certain essential features cannot function properly.

Strictly necessary cookies may be used for:

  • managing the shopping cart;
  • the checkout process;
  • signing in to a customer account;
  • website security;
  • remembering essential technical preferences;
  • operating WordPress, WooCommerce and the website’s technical systems.

These cookies do not require separate consent because they are necessary to provide the service requested by the user and operate the online store.

The website uses WooCommerce to manage products, the cart and orders. WooCommerce may set cookies necessary to operate the store.

Examples of technical cookies used by WooCommerce may include:

  • woocommerce_cart_hash — helps identify changes to the cart;
  • woocommerce_items_in_cart — indicates whether there are products in the cart;
  • wp_woocommerce_session_ — helps maintain the user’s shopping session.

These cookies are necessary for products added to the cart and the ordering process to work correctly.

Functional cookies may be used to remember user preferences and improve the website experience.

For example, they may remember display preferences, previous choices or interface settings.

Analytics cookies help us understand how the website is used, which pages are visited, which products attract interest, which traffic sources work and where usability problems may occur.

We may use services such as Google Analytics for traffic analysis and statistics.

These cookies are used according to the website’s active settings and the consent given by the user where consent is required.

Marketing cookies may be used to display relevant advertising, measure campaigns, create audiences and carry out remarketing.

Depending on the website’s configuration, we may use:

  • Google Ads;
  • Meta / Facebook Pixel;
  • TikTok Pixel;
  • other online advertising or campaign measurement tools.

These cookies are not essential to operate the store and must only be used according to the user’s consent where the law requires it.

If a user subscribes to the newsletter, the information provided may be used to send commercial communications, offers, product information and Badass Tattoo Supplies campaigns.

Newsletter tools may use technologies similar to cookies to measure email opens, clicks and campaign performance, depending on the provider and the consent given.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email or by sending a request to
badass.tattoo.supplies@gmail.com.

Some cookies may be placed by external services integrated into the website, such as analytics, advertising, video, maps, security, payment or technical service providers.

These providers may process data according to their own privacy and cookie policies. We recommend reviewing their policies for detailed information.

Cookies may be:

  • session cookies — deleted automatically when the browser closes;
  • persistent cookies — stored for a specified period or until the user deletes them manually.

The exact duration may vary according to the cookie type, purpose and provider.

On their first visit, users may see a cookie consent banner or module allowing them to accept, reject or customise cookie categories, depending on the website’s configuration.

Strictly necessary cookies may be active without separate consent because they are essential to operate the online store.

Analytics, advertising, marketing and remarketing cookies must only be activated on the basis of a clear user choice where the law requires consent.

Users can change or withdraw cookie consent at any time using the options provided by the cookie banner or module where it is active on the website.

Users can also delete or block cookies directly in their browser settings.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Most browsers allow cookies to be managed through their settings. Users can block, delete or limit cookies depending on the browser they use.

Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect website functionality, including the shopping cart, sign-in, checkout or other essential features.

  • Google Chrome;
  • Mozilla Firefox;
  • Safari;
  • Microsoft Edge;
  • Opera;
  • mobile browsers for Android and iOS.

The exact settings vary by browser and version.

The exact cookie list may change over time according to plugins, payment services, analytics tools, advertising campaigns, WooCommerce features or technical website changes.
